Pick a bagel is usually a staple in our eating choices - but recently the quality has been declining because they frequently send the food from Izzy and Nats instead. I find it very irritating when I order from one restaurant and it comes from somewhere completely different. When I order pick-a-bagel, I want pick a bagel!

Reliable, fast, maybe a little on the expensive side. Beware...they tend to forget to include the free maccaroni salad/cole slaw and/or drink with the sandwich combos. Also, their eggs are now microwaved aka plastic. On the plus side, again, they are fast, generous in portion size and the food is- eggs aside - tasty. My most recent fave is the Nova Scotia Salmon sandwich. Wish they would have fat free scallion cream cheese as a topping option.

Ok food. Super slow delivery. Estimated that it would be 40-55 minutes......was an hour and a half. Not worth the cheap prices. PS: order was half-wrong too. When it's wrong, the quality doesn't matter. That's like saying you received a great Honda when you ordered a Volvo. If I didn't want it, it doesn't matter if it's decent.

These are some of the best bagels I have found downtown. Cream cheese is great, very fresh. The veggie is awesome. Smoothies are good too. Service is fast. Have only had one thing left off, ordered a bagel with cream cheese and the cream cheese was missing. Which is pretty big mistake for a bagel. Delivery guy is very nice!

Warm orange juice, cold and burnt bagel with way too much cream cheese and a missing mini muffin. Not ordering again!

Don't expect to get what you've ordered! While the bagel was fine, two of the four items delivered were not the items ordered!

It was a disgusting egg bagel with the egg clearly microwaved and green on the inside.. Yuck.

Smoothies lovely, muffins great. Sandwiches not good. Quick delivery.

Every time we have a birthday in the office, I'm in charge of the bagels. Why? Because if it wasn't for me, we'd be stuck with the over-rated Leo's. These bagels are the best, and I get to strut around like a big shot when people ooh and aaah over them. My one slight complaint is their salt-bagel is a bit too salty. Ok, its REALLY salty. You can't see the bagel in the sea of white. But all it takes is a few scrapes of the knife to make it the best salt bagel ever.

Fantastic white fish salad, bagels are fresh, delivery takes a while but is worth it.

They are consistently good with fast delivery! I order from here every weekend.

I ordered a salad from Pick-A-Bagel and was happy with my lunch. It was ready when I walked in to pick it up and was content with the service inside, even with their lunch rush coming over from the World Fin. Center. I look forward to exploring the rest of the menu soon!

Tasty bagels and fresh spreads - consistent - restaurant called directly when issues arosed and were very helpful.

The bagels are okay but the deli meat is inedible. The corned beef was all fat and was very poor quality. The bread for the sandwiches was soggy and wet. I would not order anything but bagels from this restaurant.

My favorite bagels in the hood.

Love Pick a Bagel. They deliver quickly and have the yummiest bagels.

Delivery took close to 2 hours for half a dozen of bagels! while the estimated time said 40 min. Had to call them twice to see where my order is. Woman on the phone was rude and not helpful at all.

The bagels are good however delivery time is extremely long. Anticipate at least an hour, not matter how close you are to the store. The woman that answers the phone is really sweet and the orders the never messed up.

I've never had a bad experience with Pick A Bagel. They always deliver a good sandwich. I would recommend either the whole wheat and everything bagels. I usually order bacon, egg & cheese, virginia ham w. swiss or turkey, bacon & cheddar. The chicken noodle soup is also really good.

Just OK. I prefer Leo's but this place has good Chocolate Chocolate Chip Muffins. The delivery takes FOREVER & they seem to be out of the items I order a lot. They seldom call to tell me either they just send a replacement item...

Everything is fantastic, everytime. That's why I always come back even though it takes an hour to get here.

food has yet to arrive an hour later..... I called.....and they had MAJOR attitude.

The bagels are great, but the delivery is terrible. They need many more delivery guys, or they need to change their delivery radius. It takes way too long to deliver bagels.

they forgot half of my order, cheap and grease food with no flavor

I've ordered delivery from PickABagel lots and lots over the past two years. Bagels always fresh, sandwiches hefty, service fast (and I'm over by the Staten Island ferry), food tasty and reasonably priced.

food takes forever to be delivered - was over half hour late

The order was not fulfilled. I ordered toasted bagel with cream cheese and received chocolate cake instead. I find it pretty hard to mess something like that.

It's difficult to mess up a BLT, but Pick A Bagel somehow managed. The sandwich was a river of grease and mayo -- an inedible disaster. Whoever slapped this thing together was picking something... but it wasn't a bagel.

Create Your Own Salad option is the best deal I've ever seen. Unlimited toppings, and the salad comes in a very large container.

I have lived in NYC my whole life and this place is on my top 10 Bagel list.

bagels were great, however the menu isn't completely clear. i even called the restaurant to make sure a "nova scotia salmon sandwich" was equivalent to lox and a bagel, but when i received the order there was lox, onions (order extra), and a bagel. no cream cheese!

Not even WORTH one star. I live one block away and it took over an hour for a bagel, a bagel sandwhich, and the smallest container of chicken salad I have ever seen in my life that was overpriced. After the hour wait everything arrived cold. On top of that the delivery guy basically threw the bag of food at us and walked away. Don't order from here or give them any business. Awful place.

Just had the most pathetic disgusting watery attempt at soup I have ever tasted. Awful. Stick to the bagels.

I usually dont comment on these things and dont generally let one bad experience impact my view on a long standing establishment. I wont ruin your appetite with the details of my experience. Suffice it to say: you have been warned.

The bagels are doughy and cake-like here, not appetizing. Overall, the food was okay, but I wouldn't order from this place again.

bagels are miserable... ordered deserts one night for a quick fix. they were horrible. fat free muffin however is outstanding.

Not the best on breakfast.

I order from here a lot, even though it's not near my neighborhood. Sandwiches are always good and delivered hot. Drinks are well wrapped.

By far the best bagel place in the area-hands down!
